The class work for IV B.Tech I Semester for the academic year 2014-15 has
commenced from 16th June 2014.
◘◘◘As per the existing academic regulations (2010-11 batch onwards) “A student shall be promoted
from III year to IV year if he /she fulfills the academic requirements of 40% of the credits up to
III year I Semester from all the examinations, whether or not the candidate takes the
examinations and secures prescribed minimum attendance in III year II Semester” (rule 5.4).
In this connection, the Vice – Chancellor, JNTUK is pleased to issue addendum to the above rule
as follows:
“A student shall be promoted from III year to IV year if he / she fulfills the academic
requirements of 40% of the credits up to III year II Semester from all the examinations,
whether or not the candidate takes the examinations and secures prescribed minimum
attendance in III year II Semester”.
Under the above circumstances, it is informed to permit the students for the class
work of IV year I Semester, pending declaration of results of III year II Semester. The attendance
of such candidates may be considered w.e.f. 11.07.2014, if not allowed so far.
The list of students who satisfied the addendum clause or otherwise may be furnished to the
Director of Academics and Planning and copy marked to Director of Evaluation, JNTUK after
declaration of III year II Semester results.
